Travel to South Africa

  • Flag
With the optimism caused by the end of Apartheid, which has turned South Africa into a relevant, travelers come to a country that was forbidden for most of the twentieth century. Political violence seems to belong to the past, and the population harbors the desire to build a nation and for all. It is the perfect time to visit. In a first trip to Africa, to start with South Africa is not a bad choice: the infrastructure is constantly improving, the weather is nice and is the perfect setting to see African wildlife. But anyone wishing to understand the country should know the different aspects that shape it, and not everything is rosy. Poverty continues to coexist with wealth, the AIDS pandemic is devastating and violence remains a serious problem. It is necessary to take some precautions such as not display money or valuables, be wary of using public transport and train stations, and keep in mind that car thefts and armed robberies pose a risk in some parts of the country. However, these negatives are offset by the pride and hope that permeates all communities (rich and poor, black and white), especially in the way that South Africa has surfaced from the nightmare of apartheid.

In South Africa you can visit cities like Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban or Table Mountain National Park
