It is the landscape or cultural treasures that are known to Nicaragua, but the 1979 Sandinista revolution and subsequent war "against", in which only the intervention by the United States orchestrated the uprising of the people stopped. At present, the Sandinistas are in power, and the current economic ideology, dictated by the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF), is characterized by extensive privatization and liberalization of the economy. These rapid "structural adjustments" reduced inflation and provided cash to the business elite of the country but many people were unemployed or in a difficult situation. At least during this period have been complied with human rights and the fight is now limited to the political battlefield. Nicaragua is a fascinating destination for those fleeing the "monuments" have historical consciousness and enjoy visiting countries in its purest form.

In Nicaragua you can visit cities like Bluefields, Corn Islands, Estelí or San Juan Del Sur
