The Estonians are a nation and ethnic Finnish intimately connected to Lapland and Finland. The country has cultural and historical ties with the Nordic countries [1], particularly Finland, Sweden and Denmark. The Estonian language is part of ugrofinès and is close to Finnish, both are related to the Hungarian and the other two languages belonging to the group finoúgric. Along with Finnish, Hungarian and Maltese, Estonian is the official language group of the European Union non-Indo-European origin. The current name of Estonia is probably due to the Roman historian Tacitus, who in his book Germania (c. 98) described the people who lived in the region of present Estonia as Aestii, a barbarous people different from others peoples of the region. Similarly, there was the old Scandinavian sagas stories about the region as Eistland Estonia. But the first time Estonians themselves called and was strengthened during the period of Estonian culture in the mid-nineteenth century. During the present century Estonia was occupied by other people, so there is a slight influence of Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Germany in Estonian culture. The notion of people came much later, only half of the nineteenth century, with strong growth in addition to the cultural growth of the urban population in the course of industrialization and raising the cultural level of the population, which that favored the union of the peoples of the same origin, and which resulted in an autonomous state, established with the adoption of the Constitution of 1917.
